Weld County Republicans had a strong showing today at the Weld County Republican Assembly, with 284 delegates participating in the process.
Congratulations to the candidates who were successfully nominated and will advance to the June Republican Primary ballot:
Steve Reams – Commissioner At-Large
Scott James – Commissioner District 2
Jason Marini – County Assessor
Ryan Gonzalez – House District 50
In our countywide races:
Matt Turner was nominated for Weld County Sheriff with 205 votes (74.28%)
Philip Lukens received 71 votes (25.72%)
Rudy Santos was nominated for Weld County Clerk and Recorder with 225 votes (82.12%)
Randy Propp received 49 votes (17.88%)
