The Denver Post reports that outside groups spent more than $3.3 million this month in Colorado’s 8th and 5th Congressional District races. About $2.4 million supported Republican Reps. Gabe Evans and Jeff Crank or opposed their Democratic opponents, Manny Rutinel and Jessica Killin, according to Federal Election Commission records. No Going Back PAC, which the report says is financially backed by MAGA Inc., was the largest single spender. The article says reported spending included direct mail, television ads and text messages.
