Colorado Public Radio reports that Republican gubernatorial candidate Victor Marx, a Colorado Springs nonprofit founder, won his party’s primary over two sitting state lawmakers. His running mate is retired Marine Col. George Markert.
In the candidate questionnaire, Marx said he would focus on affordability, public safety and government accountability. He proposed zero-based budgeting, greater use of technology to reduce duplication, and prioritizing public safety, water infrastructure, education and services for vulnerable residents.
