Colorado Public Radio reports that Amanda Gonzalez, an election attorney, University of Denver adjunct professor and former Jefferson County clerk and recorder, is seeking to become Colorado’s top election official.
In the candidate guide, Gonzalez said she supports Colorado’s mail-ballot system and expressed concern about proposed federal changes to election administration and voter registration requirements.
