The Denver Post reports that a University of Maryland poll of 500 voters in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District found broad support among Democratic- and Republican-leaning respondents for government action on air pollution and emissions. The survey was conducted in May and June.
The poll found support across party leanings for making air-pollution reduction a government priority, setting an emissions-reduction goal, international cooperation, clean-energy tax credits and stronger vehicle fuel-efficiency requirements.
