The Greeley Tribune reports that Verdad Resources LLC has applied to Weld County for a permit to build the proposed Century Pad, a 22-well oil and gas project north of Windsor in unincorporated Weld County. The proposed site is south of Weld County Road 74, or East Harmony Road, and Weld County Road 15.
According to the report, the permits are under review by Weld County and the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission. Residents who live near the location have raised concerns about health, safety, emissions and traffic, while seeking conditions and regulatory oversight if the project moves forward.
