Colorado Public Radio reports that a planned moderated debate between Republican gubernatorial candidate Victor Marx and Democratic candidate Phil Weiser is no longer happening. The debate had been expected in early October on the Aaron Harber Show after Marx’s campaign agreed to participate.
Harber and the Weiser campaign confirmed the cancellation, while the Marx campaign did not respond to CPR’s request for comment about why Marx was no longer participating. Marx and Weiser remain scheduled to speak at an Oct. 8 Colorado Chamber of Commerce forum, which is not a debate.
