According to 9NEWS, the station will host and broadcast two October debates before Colorado’s Nov. 3 General Election. Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert and Democratic challenger Eileen Laubacher are scheduled to debate Oct. 12 in the 4th Congressional District race, which includes part of Weld County.
Democratic Sen. John Hickenlooper and Republican state Sen. Mark Baisley are scheduled to debate Oct. 14 at Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Auraria campus. Both events are set to air on 9NEWS television stations and stream through its digital platforms.
What to know
The 4th Congressional District debate is scheduled for Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. on KUSA, while the U.S. Senate debate is scheduled for Oct. 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on KTVD. The Senate event is not open to the public.
