Sentinel Colorado reports that Proposition NN would ask voters to raise Colorado’s TABOR revenue cap, allowing the state to retain more revenue. Nonpartisan state analysts estimate the change could increase K-12 education funding by about $500 million annually, while potentially reducing TABOR refunds depending on future revenue growth.
The Legislature referred the measure to the 2026 ballot after mostly party-line votes. Supporters say it would allow existing revenue to be used for schools without raising taxes.
