Colorado Public Radio reports that three third-party candidates are running for Colorado secretary of state: American Constitution Party nominee Amanda Campbell, Colorado Forward Party nominee Celeste Landry and Libertarian Sean Vadney. The office oversees elections, voting integrity, business and commercial licensing, charities, campaign-finance databases, and other laws and codes. According to CPR, Campbell has repeatedly run for the office, Landry has worked on election advocacy and Vadney joined the ballot after a successful legal challenge by the state Libertarian Party. The candidates have outlined differing views on constitutional oversight, youth primary participation and proportional representation, and voting methods.
