About the Weld GOP Chair
Article VI, Section 3 of the Weld County Republican Central Committee bylaws says, “The Chairman shall be the Chief Executive officer of the Weld County Republican Central Committee and of the Weld County Republican Party. He/she shall preside at all meetings of the committee, and shall observe and enforce these By-Laws. He/she shall call any County Republican Assembly or Convention to order and may preside there at, or with the consent of the majority of the Executive Committee may select some other person to do so, until a permanent chairman thereof shall have been chosen, for which he/she shall also be eligible. He/she shall appoint all Standing Committee personnel, except the Auditing and Vacancy Committees, and the officers thereof. He/she shall also appoint all other needful committees, and the committee personnel and officers thereof, with the consent of the majority of the Executive Committee. He/she shall be ex-officio member of all committees aforesaid, but shall have no vote therein, except in the case of a tie. He/she shall promote the best interests of the Republican Party in Weld County and exercise his/her best efforts to keep and develop harmony in the party.”
