The Weld County GOP has an opening to serve as a Bonus Member to the Colorado GOP State Central Committee.
The duties of a bonus member in regards to the State Party is that they have a vote as a SCC – State Central Committee Member. That means they get to vote at the regularly held meeting. The Secretary of State election calendar actually dictates the time frame these meetings take place.
On an off-year – non-election year, the meetings are generally held in early spring and then fall. During an election year, it is held in conjunction with the State Assembly & Convention. A bonus member votes on the State Party officers, bylaws, and if a controversy was to be brought to the committee as a whole.
The Weld County GOP Vacancy Committee will be voting on this position on Tuesday, August 15th, at our special meeting at Roche Construction, 361 71st Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
