About Rudy Santos
As Chief Deputy and a 24-year public servant, Rudy will continue what works and improve where we can do better—reducing wait times in Motor Vehicle, expanding convenient online Recording services, and safeguarding accurate, secure, and transparent elections. It’s all about respectful, efficient customer service for every resident.
Rudy Santos has served in the Weld County Clerk and Recorder’s office since June 2001. He began in the Recording Department, moved to the Elections Office in 2003, and—after helping deliver a successful 2003 election—was promoted to Office Coordinator in 2004. In 2015, he was appointed Chief Deputy and continues to serve in that position today.
Across 24 years, Rudy has been an integral part of conducting 37 successful elections. He believes there is no such thing as an easy election—especially during a Presidential year—and credits the team’s time, effort, and energy for delivering accurate, secure results every time.
