Thanks to Kathleen Chandler of the Independence Institute’s Local Government Project for recently hosting a Boards and Commissions training. As those who attended learned. local governments have dozens of opportunities to serve on these important boards and commissions which help provide services to citizens.
It is vitally important that these positions be filled with conservatives determined to serve their community with a liberty-driven mindset.
We look forward to continuing to partner with the Independence Institute to bring the Local Government Project to the Weld County GOP. It is vitally important that we elect Republicans to local government positions in Weld County! The stated mission of the Independence Institute’s Local Government project:
We all want to turn our country around. But we all can’t run for office or give as much money as we’d like to the people and causes we love. So what can we do? You can turn the tables by investing a few hours a month giving back to your local community. Whether you’re a millennial or a retiree, we need your help! If you volunteer your time on a board or committee, you will have credibility/authority to speak into many issues. As a member of a board or committee you will be heard – you have a captive audience.
Please get involved in Weld County’s over 50 local governments. First, check available Boards and Commissions positions HERE.
