Kevin Grantham
About Kevin Grantham…
There are many titles that describe Kevin Grantham: small businessman, hog farmer, family man, County Commissioner, former Senate President, City Councilman, and lifelong conservative — but the one that matters most is Coloradan.
Early Life & Values
Growing up in a rural farming community in Crowley County in Southeast Colorado, Kevin Grantham was raised with the values of honesty, hard work, and integrity. He was raised to appreciate the value of a hard-earned dollar and to budget carefully.
Proven Leadership
Starting in 2007 on the city council for Cañon City, Grantham’s rise through elected office has been swift, with him serving in the State Senate, where he served on the esteemed Joint Budget Committee and served as Senate President from 2017–2018.
Keeping Colorado Affordable
Currently a County Commissioner for Fremont County, where he cut property taxes to help residents afford the rising cost of living, Kevin Grantham is worried that Colorado has become increasingly unaffordable to live, work, and raise a family.
That’s why he’s running. He wants to make Colorado a safe and affordable place where anyone that works hard can get ahead.
When he was a State Senator, Grantham helped fight to keep the state government’s spending excesses in check and successfully stopped multiple attempts at billion dollar tax hikes.
It is time that Colorado gets back to being a state that is careful with how it taxes its residents and how it spends their hard-earned tax dollars.
