About Gabe Evans
Congressman Gabe Evans is a conservative leader who has spent his entire life running toward challenge. He represents Colorado’s 8th Congressional District, where he is fighting to secure the border, strengthen public safety, and make life more affordable for hardworking Coloradans.
Before serving in Congress, Gabe spent twelve years in the U.S. Army and Colorado Army National Guard as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot and company commander. He completed a combat deployment to the Middle East and responded to wildfires and search and rescues throughout Colorado.
Gabe also spent over a decade as an Arvada police officer, where he witnessed firsthand the consequences of Colorado Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies. That experience drove him to run for the Colorado State House in 2022, where he fought for safer communities, lower taxes, and better opportunities for working families.
Gabe and his wife own and operate a family farm in southern Weld County. As parents of two boys (Bruce and Sammy), they are heavily involved in homeschooling and educational choice. Gabe is a certified concealed carry instructor who has taught hundreds of Coloradans about their inalienable rights.
The grandson of Mexican immigrants, Gabe is a Colorado native who truly understands the beauty and responsibility of the American Dream. His commitment to preserving that sacred ideal is why he served in the military, stepped up for law enforcement, and now serves in Congress—fighting every day to make Colorado the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
