Colorado Public Radio reports that the U.S. House passed the Water Resources Development Act, 415-9, with all Colorado House members voting in favor. The bill authorizes Army Corps of Engineers water infrastructure programs and includes $22.5 million for projects in eight counties, including Weld County. It also adds Colorado to a rural assistance program and extends the potential local payback period for the Arkansas Valley Conduit. The Senate has not yet taken up the measure.
